Who they are
Established in 1997 in Antsirabe, Madagascar, Crown Athletics Club uses athletics as a tool for empowerment for local rickshaw pullers. Through structured training in road and trail running, it enhances both sporting performance and daily life conditions.
The club also supports professional reorientation toward guiding and outdoor careers in response to economic change. National and international race results highlight their resilience and inspire their wider community.
Testimony
Through a photo report on our athletes by Romain Philippon, Jean Hacquart contacted me to learn more about the club and how it operates. After several video meetings, he informed me that the Foundation could provide its support.
I must admit that after eight years of running the club, I had not fully realized how meaningful our work could be. Receiving positive feedback from outside has been a new source of motivation, and the support of a brand like Salomon still feels almost unreal. Exchanges with Jean are always kind and efficient; it is truly constructive to be able to discuss and reflect with him.
