Who they are
Casiopeea, Le sport pour vaincre is a French non-profit founded in 2015 that promotes sport and health for women facing illness, particularly in the context of cancer treatment. Throughout the year, the association organizes adapted physical activities (walking, cycling, Zumba, Pilates, climbing) and programs such as Remise en Selle, which enable participants to return to physical activity at their own pace, in a supported and collective environment.
The organization also fosters connection, cohesion, and well-being through monthly outings, group events, and sporting challenges, including initiatives linked to Pink October to raise awareness of breast cancer.
Why it matters
Since 2023, the Salomon Foundation has supported Casiopeea, a partnership designed to support women find their confidence during life-changing health challenges. A supportive environment ensures they can enjoy nature and sports at their own pace whilst finding a sense of community.
