THE ORIGINS OF MOVEMENT

For nearly 80 years, Salomon has been designing technical products that support athletes in movement: the movement of the body as it pushes itself, challenges its limits and reaches new heights.

The Salomon Foundation was born from this commitment and carries it beyond the field of play.

From sporting movement to solidarity in action, the same drive remains: empowering everyone to go further.

On December 10, 2026, the Salomon Foundation will celebrate this mission at its very first Grand Gala: The Origins of Movement.

For one evening, this gathering will bring together those who wish to take part in a new chapter of its story.

An immersive sensory experience at the heart of Salomon’s heritage, the work of its Foundation and the projects it supports.

“Georges Salomon made a promise to give back to the mountains what they had given him; and that promise became a company-wide commitment. We have a responsibility to make outdoor sports accessible to everyone.
On December 10, we will open the doors of our company to introduce our endowment fund, the Salomon Foundation, and invite others to join the movement.”

Step inside where movement takes shape.
An exclusive look inside the Annecy Design Center workshops, usually reserved for Salomon athletes and teams.

02 – SENSORY EXPERIENCES

A series of highlights and surprises.
The evening is designed to awaken your senses.
Among other experiences, you will enjoy a culinary journey inspired by Alpine landscapes.

03- THE CHARITY AUCTION

Exceptional works, products and experiences.
Throughout the evening, auctions, a raffle and a boutique space will offer plenty of opportunities to support the projects backed by the Foundation.

Today, the Salomon Foundation works alongside 42 associations across 13 countries and 500 mountain professionals.

Funds raised during the evening will directly support the people and projects accompanied by the Foundation across three pillars:
