2. Mountain leaders
3. Mountain guides
4. Ski instructors
5. Climbing guides

The Salomon Foundation identifies potential grantees through its network of employees, ambassadors, athletes, non-profits and recommendations.

The Salomon Foundation does not issue a call for projects to identify new organizations to collaborate with. 

• Mountain professionals and their families facing life accidents
• Non-governmental organizations which open mountain sports to all. The Salomon Foundation focuses on three pillars: Health & Disability, Diversity, Education. 

• If you are a mountain professional in need, please get in touch. We will answer you as fast as possible to discuss your situation. 
• If you are an NGO, you can write us on the “Contact us” page. Yet, as we receive a lot of requests, we cannot guarantee that we will answer. Thank you for your understanding.  

Thanks to the support of Salomon, 100% of external donations go directly to organizations and mountain professionals facing life-changing accidents.

Yes, both companies and individuals can make a donation.

Yes. Donors based in the EU and the US will receive a charitable receipt for tax purposes.

Anyone can donate to the Salomon Foundation, be it an individual or a company.

They are two separate legal entities. The Salomon Foundation supports organizations worldwide that enable disadvantaged or excluded people to access outdoor sports.

Yes. Salomon contributes annually to the Salomon Foundation. This funding supports organizations around the world and covers the Foundation’s operating costs.

As a result, 100% of external donations go directly to beneficiaries.

The Salomon Foundation considers several factors when selecting grantees:

• alignment with the Foundation’s mission
• geographic scope
• impact

All decisions are approved by the Foundation’s Board of Directors.
