Who they are
Oz’moov was born from the meeting between Jérôme, a triple amputee, and students from the École des Mines d’Albi, driven by a simple belief: sport should be accessible to everyone.
The organization works to remove physical, technical, and social barriers that limit access to sport for people with amputations, using movement as a lever for autonomy, self-confidence, and rebuilding. Beyond performance, Oz’moov promotes an inclusive vision of the body, highlighting inspiring journeys and collective ingenuity to shift perspectives on disability. Its mission is clear: to show that disability can be the starting point for new possibilities and a future full of potential.
Why It Matters
Access to sport remains limited for many people with amputations due to physical, technical, and social barriers. By working to remove these obstacles, Oz’moov helps restore autonomy, confidence, and the ability to project oneself into the future.
Beyond individual impact, the association challenges perceptions of disability by promoting a more inclusive vision of the body and movement. It not only opens access to sport, but also expands what is considered possible for everyone.
