Who they are
Loisirs Assis Évasion is a public-interest organization committed to making the mountains accessible to all, by developing outdoor activities for people with disabilities or reduced mobility, in both summer and winter.
It offers a wide range of adapted activities, from all-terrain wheelchairs, Cimgo, paragliding, and paddleboarding in summer, to adaptive skiing in winter using specialized equipment tailored to each individual.
The association works with both institutions and private individuals, and provides training to encourage autonomy in the use of adaptive equipment.
With over 30 years of experience, it has built strong expertise in accessibility, which it shares with both public and private stakeholders.
TESTIMONY
In January 2025, during a visit from Comme les Autres, five young participants experienced seated skiing, supported by volunteers from the Salomon Foundation. This moment allowed us to exchange with the Foundation on our needs, particularly in terms of equipment and the development of a prototype mannequin.
Following a meeting last spring in Annecy, the Foundation quickly confirmed its support by donating skis and contributing to Tandemski training for parents of people with disabilities.
