Who they are
Bivouac et Moi is an association that offers mountain stays for people affected by cancer or chronic illnesses. Through short immersive experiences in nature, the association provides moments of walking, breathing, and sharing, away from the medical routine. These stays, supervised by mountain and health professionals, are accessible to all levels and focus on adapted physical activity, solidarity, and human connection, rather than performance. The mountains become a place for reconnection with oneself, with others, and with one’s abilities.
TESTIMONY
Since 2023, the Salomon Foundation has supported Bivouac et Moi, a partnership born from shared values around reintegration through nature, solidarity, and access to the mountains.
This support, both financial and material, has been essential to the development of our human-centered project.
Our relationship has grown through close and meaningful exchanges, including shared time in the mountains.
